PVSA Application Updated (Aug 25 2024) - For students who are applying for PVSA of the current cycle (Oct 2023 - Sep 2024), please submit the following materials by Sep 30 to youth@anacp.org . We prefer the sooner the better.
An email/letter stating
1. Your full name, age, grade.
2. Level of PVSA Award (Gold, Silver or Bronze) you are applying according to your age group.
3. Attach the summary of volunteer details including hours, works and contact person (phone number or email address) you have worked with ANACP/MedicineConnect and outside of ANACP. Please provide the time frames, individual hours for each work and total hours of your works.
As a reference, you could use our log sheet ( PVSA Time Log (downloadable) to submit your volunteer details. Or if you have a separate log with the information, you can use it as well.
*We will evaluate your application and get it back to you as soon as possible.

About President Volunteer Service Award (PVSA)
ANACP has been approved to be an official organization to grant President's Volunteer Service Award(PVSA) to the volunteers since 8/25/2022 .
You are welcome to join ANACP PVSA application, or you can simply contribute WITHOUT applying for the award. Our goal is not the Award, but helping others. Please fill out the following form, as that we have your contact information.

What you need to know about volunteering and PVSA?
In a nutshell, volunteering means unpaid work to benefit others (family members are not included). We promote volunteer spirit to benefit others, not just for Award.
Your volunteer hours including the ones working for ANACP and the community are all counted for your PVSA qualification. We are happy to honor your valuable work and issue the Award to those who are self-motivated and hard working to benefit others.
To apply, your parent needs to be an active ANACP member. Please be aware, the time period for the current PVSA is Oct 1, 2023-Sep 30, 2024. Please see this article for more details.

- Please let us know if you decide to apply PVSA through ANACP as early as possible (important).
- CONTACT US OFTEN (phone call, text, WeChat, Email etc). We need to know your progress.
- You are required to spend some time volunteering with ANACP, and you will receive training from us to do the jobs.
- Many tasks including website design/update, membership/database management, annual conference preparation… More details are here.
- Community work
We encourage you volunteer in the community and school to benefit others. ANACP will NOT provide you all the volunteer hours you need for PVSA.
Community services, food drive, gathering supplies for troops etc.
Unpaid Volunteer work in the hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, churches, libraries, daycare, school clubs, tutuoring…
