Charles Wang, MD, FAAN
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Dr. Charles Wang is a neurologist, Director of Section of Intraoperative Neuromonitoring at Department of Neurology NorthShore University HealthSystem and a Senior Clinician Educator at Prizker School of Medicine, University of Chicago. Dr. Wang graduated from Tongji Medical University in 1986. He did a Research Fellowship at Beth Israel Hospital, Harvard Medical School between 1992-1997. He did his Internship (PGY1) in Internal Medicine at University of Missouri at Columbia Hospital and Clinics between 1997-1998. He did his Neurology residency (PGY2-4, 1998-2001) at Department of Neurology, University of Illinois at Chicago where he also finished a year of Clinical Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology between 2001-2002. Dr. Wang is board certified in 3 areas: Diplomat of American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in Neurology; Diplomat of American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in Clinical Neurophysiology; Diplomate of American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM). Dr. Wang is the member of American Academy of Neurology (AAN), American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM) and Alliance of North America Chinese Physicians (ANACP).

Huaiyong Cheng, MD
President
Currently, Huai Cheng (MD, MPH, MS) is an Associate Professor of Medicine in Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology of Department of Medicine at University of Pittsburgh and UPMC. He is an academic geriatrician. He graduated from Xu-zhou medical college in China. He was trained as cardiology fellowand was a cardiology faculty at Fu Wai hospital of Peking Union Medical College in China. He came to the States as a visiting scholar. He was trained in internal medicine in a Downstate affiliated community hospital, in geriatrics medicine in Saint Louise Universityhospital and palliative medicine in MD Anderson. He received the Geriatrics Academic Career Award from U.S. Department of Human Health at Columbia University. He has received three geriatrics education research award including Inaugural Medical Education Fellowship Award, Advanced Distinguished Educator Medical Education, and Medical Education Fellowship Award as PI at University of Virginia. He received the RobleyDunglison Award, a prestigious teaching award at University of Virginia. He is a Harvard Macy Scholar for three times and has given invited talks and grand roundsat Harvard, Columbia, UNC, UCSF, UPMC, MD Anderson and other institutions. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters.

Yan Zhou, MD.
Treasurer
Dr. Zhou currently works as a medical oncologist and hematologist in Houston. She received her Fellowship training at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at East Tennessee State University—Quillen College of Medicine.
Dr. Zhou received her MD from the Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences, China. She also received her Ph.D. in Oncologic Pharmacology and her M.S. in Clinical pharmacology from Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences. Prior to her clinical training, she has served as Pre-doctoral and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Fan Zhou, MD.
Secretary
Fan Zhou, M.D., M.S., MPH, is a faculty in the department of family medicine and community health at Duke University. Zhou earned an M.D. from Peking Union Medical College in 1997, an M.S. from Penn State University in 2002, and an MPH from University of Pittsburgh in 2002.
Prior to joining Duke, Zhou was a primary care physician at Physicians East in Greenville, N.C., from 2009 to 2019. Zhou is interested in disease prevention and health promotion and is working at the division of Duke Student Health.
